The mission of Applied Behavioral Concepts is to provide treatment and assessment services for individuals of all ages with challenging behavior problems. · We also develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive Positive Behavior Support Plans to teach verbal behavior, learning, academic, social, self-care, emotional, vocational, and community living skills for individuals with autism spectrum, developmental disorders and mental retardation. · We use the scientifically grounded principles of Applied Behavior Analysis as a basis for learning and behavior change. · We apply almost two decades of experience of working in clinical forensic settings (Correctional Institutions, and State Hospitals (ICF/MR’s) with the most current research as a basis for Psychosexual Evaluations and Treatments for Sexually Inappropriate behaviors and Sex Offenders. · Our goal is to provide positive supports for our clients while upholding their dignity that not only eliminate behavior problems, but also promotes developmental skills and alternative behavior that is socially adaptive and personally gratifying. · Only the best researched, least restrictive, most effective empirical behavior assessments and treatments are used. · These goals are accomplished through a cooperative relationships with our clients and families in conjunction with other stakeholders. |
